In his words:

My work is focused on using found and abandoned images to craft new work that is abstract, surreal, and immediate. The work may feel like a stranger is staring at you from across a room or as if you are looking at hidden records of a lost expedition. I strive for my images to be about the way things could have been or are becoming, given enough time.

I work strictly with images from vintage and found books and magazines to install a sense of nostalgia, distance, and ambiguity to the images and worlds I am glimpsing into. Through routine working conditions and using specific material sources my work is as much about the process as it is about the finished image. Creating these images is as enjoyable and strange to me as I hope it is to the viewer.
